About Shaynah

Teaching is in my blood.

My Bobbie was my mentor and inspiration. A well loved play-school teacher who is still fondly remembered by her children and peers, I spent many school holidays helping her with her group and benefitted throughout my childhood from her lessons both in and out of the classroom.

My mother started her own playgroup in our garage when I was very little and I still remember our real life sized self portraits that she hand painted on the walls.

My Bachelor degree in Education gave me knowledge and my own children, much experience.
Teaching is my joy and passion in life. I feel truly blessed to love what I do everyday.

Your child at this age has a tremendous capacity for learning, growth and development and it is an honour and a privilege for me to share in this special time.
Our days are filled with happy, structured and nurtured engagement.

My play school is my pride and joy. It is a place where parents and children have a safe and calm space to explore this very special time.
